My name is Alexis and I work a unique schedule and I am active duty in the military airforce. “we are all in this together” I thought it would be nice to offer friends and family the same experience.

Alexis is active duty in the United States Air Force
and brings her unique experience, discipline, and heart for service into everything he does. With a love for creating relaxing, welcoming spaces, he was inspired to build this retreat as a way to offer family, friends, and guests a peaceful getaway from everyday life.
Driven by the belief that “we are all in this together,” Alexis created Cozy Country Cottage to share the comforts of home with others, especially those who understand the demands of busy schedules and service life. Whether you’re visiting for rest, celebration, or connection, he hopes you’ll feel right at home here.

Welcome to your Pinterest-inspired, modern rustic escape! Nestled on three wooded acres in Abita Springs, our custom-built 3-bedroom, 3-bath cottage offers a unique blend of comfort, style, and southern charm.
From the vaulted ceilings and porcelain wood-style floors to the granite bowtie kitchen island and fully stocked kitchen, every detail is designed for ease and enjoyment. The open-concept layout brings people together, while smart Samsung TVs, a serene front porch, and a luxurious walk-in his-and-her shower ensure every guest feels at home.

Enjoy the Outdoors, Made for Families
Step outside and unwind in nature. Lounge by the private in-ground pool, relax under umbrellas on tanning chairs, or enjoy cozy nights around the fire pit. Kids will love the Rainbow Play Set, complete with swings, a slide, and a rock wall, while adults gather on the patio for meaningful conversations.
The cottage also includes central A/C and heat, an on-demand water heater, and a whole-home Generac generator (available for an additional charge). Parking is available for up to four vehicles, with extra space upon request.
